How can pair my calculator key pad to my Macbook? It seems is not taking the enter key. Thanks

    • A.

Make sure the switch on the back of the keypad is set for use with your computer (Mac or PC). While the keypad is powered on put it into pairing mode by pressing and holding down the “Conn.” button on the back of the unit for 5 seconds. It should appear in your list of Bluetooth devices on the computer (opening Bluetooth preferences  or set up bluetooth device). Select it. The Computer should display a PIN code, enter the code from the Smart Keypad and then press the enter button on the Smart Keypad and it should connect. Make sure the Smart Keypad is in Keypad mode before entering the PIN code (press the mode button until “on KEYPAD” is display in the top right corner).

Note: When the computer displays the PIN code, and you enter the code from the Smart Keypad and then press the enter button on the Smart Keypad you will not see the pin being typed on the keypad.

The Smart Keypad is only compatible with PC and Mac computers. Unfortunately, it will not work with the iPad.

this gets paired but then drops soon after. How can I fix this?

    • A.

The Smart Keypad will go into sleep mode after a couple minutes of inactivity so as not to drain the battery while not in use. To wake the keypad simply press the "wake" button on the keypad and it should reconnect.

Helpful product The product works as advertised. Customer support was excellent. I went on-line for support for a unit that did not work. After two questions, they agreed to send a new one right out. I had it two days later and it works well.

Great Product to Use Connected or Unconnected with a Mac The Bluetooth Wireless Keypad is a great calculator and Mac accessory. It is easy to connect to your Mac or a great product as a stand alone calculator. The only change I would recommend is to make the calculator a little shorter, so it is the same vertical length as a Mac keyboard.

Great Product This is wonderful to have. I have missed having a numeric keyboard since I bought my iMac with a bluetooth keyboard. Apple only sells keyboards with numeric keypads that are corded. I am smiling every time I have to do numeric data entry - no more using the regular number keys on the keyboard! I was always hitting the wrong key.
I definitely recommend it and the price was certainly reasonable. It also perfectly matches my Apple keyboard.

Nice keypad This keypad works as advertised. No setup, other than selecting "Mac" and turning it on. Apple bluetooth recognizes it and sets up a pairing.

The keypad is about an inch longer than the Apple keyboard and trackpad, so won't fit in a keyboard tray. It is also about 1/8" higher. Pity the length and height didn't match the Mac keyboard.

The calculator function is also useful if you need a basic 1 line calculator.

When used as a keypad, data is sent to the Mac and you see it on the computer screen. You cannot see data entry on the keypad.

I subtract 1 star for not physically matching the keyboard in length (top to bottom) and no data display on the keypad when using as a keypad.

Great Product and it just work It is a great product which provide not only 2 ways but 3 ways of use. Because it can pair with iPad too... Nice design and easy operation. The small little thing is the key pressing feeling not as great as original Mac keyboard.

Really Nice So far I like it very much. Easy step and off /on. My only picky thing would be that the keys look huge next to my wireless keyboard. I think it would more more aesthetically pleasing if the key sizes matched. That's my .2

Fits Right In With Your iMac Nice piece that goes well with your iMac look and feel. Nice that is works both as a number keypad and also a calculator, with just a touch of a button on the face. Only wish the read out was just a little larger or bolder. Nice piece.
