    I bought this product as a replacement for the FM transmitter I had from Belkin that plugged right into the cigarette lighter thinking the hands-free system would be a better choice. I was right! The sound, for me, is a bit "staticky" when I make phone calls on the other end I have heard, but the music and phone calls sound great through my 1997 car stereo system. I love the hands free option and can't imagine going back to the other system. I definitely recommend this product!! :) (Posted on March 10, 2013)

    Out of the box, I plugged the transmitter in and thought it would pair with my iPod Touch automatically. It did not. So slightly disappointed I settled on using the cable that came with the transmitter. BUT THEN, the thought occurred to me to READ THE MANUAL. Sure enough, the instructions for pairing Bluetooth devices are plainly shown. Once I followed the instructions, I had no problem with pairing the iPod Touch with the transmitter. Once a device is paired with the transmitter, the only things you should have to do for repeated future use is: plug in the transmitter, have Bluetooth enabled on the iPod and the car radio station tuned to the frequency displayed on the transmitter.

    I purchased the transmitter strictly for the FM transmitter / music. I have not tried the phone feature yet and probably will not use the phone feature. I have used the Belkin FM transmitter which works O.K. but there is a noticeable static overlaying the music. I have not experienced any static sound with the Soundfly device. The transmission from the Soundfly device is strong, so strong that it completely took over a Rock and Roll station's frequency on my radio. I think the difference in the Belkin and Soundfly is the strength of the signal. I tried the remote and it is pretty handy. I can forward through songs on the iPod, adjust volume, and change the radio frequency. I think for the money, this is the best FM transmitter you can find on the market, especially with being completely wire free. (Posted on December 25, 2012)

    Should have option for cable so the unit and power don't have to be in the same place. Not conveinent in my car. This is 2012, ditch the useless remote and have an app to control the unit! You're already connected to the phone. My radar detector has a great app. (Posted on November 2, 2012)

    I purchased this device to use it in my truck,it was my last option or i was going to replace the unit with a new bluetooth capable stereo costing me nearly $200+, problem was it is a company truck and if i did purchase a new stereo haedset they were not going to allow me take it off in case i had to change vehicles. Great little product,unplug it from the charger everyday and throw it in my bag so regardless which vehicle i jump in i can use it. Great sound quality, no echoing when I am on a phone call. I can watch YouTube videos and listen to the sound from the truck speakers, listen to online radios through the speakers. All I can say about this product is it is excellent, I highly recommend to anyone. (Posted on July 9, 2012)

    Unfortunately I got a defective unit, but, being an electronic, I accept that this can happen with anything regardless of price or quality. The menu button on my unit doesn't work. That said...it still gets five stars, because the sound quality for music is amazing, phone calls great on both ends, and love the external microphone. Best part, I called the customer service number in the package, and although I bought from amazon, just gave them my amazon order number, and they advance shipped me a replacement and prepaid return label.     I've gone through so many of these products, I started to give up. I purchased one of these, almost as a last shot, and it works great. I went back and purchased another one for my truck. I can drive from Dallas to Cape Kennedy, without changing the FM frequency. (Posted on June 7, 2012)

The device is easy to use, and it is a marvelous way to listen to the music on my iphone. When I set my phone to randomly select the songs, it's sort of like listening to my very own radio station.     I got this product because I was looking to replace my bluetooth headset with a speaker phone product. I was also interested in streaming audio from my Android phone (Droid, Droid X2) over my cars speakers. It does both, splendidly. The audio is clear and plenty loud.

    The included microphone has a long enough cord to conceal it from the cigarette lighter socket, all the way under the dash, up next to the door and across the head liner. I have mine clipped to my map lamp. Position and direction are imnportant. If people are having trouble hearing you, make sure the mic is in a good place and pointed at your mouth.

    The bluetooth streaming works great. It takes about 5 seconds of the ignition being on for it to connect both audio and phone functionality. I am able to listen to streaming music or a podcast over my car speakers. Excellent!

    This product just makes it easy. You can use the pickup and hangup buttons from the device, instead of your phone. There are also audio controls to pause/play and skip tracks that work great. (Posted on May 14, 2012)
