Listen to me.
Disclosure: I was contacted by Satechi and given a BT Touch specifically for the purpose of reviewing it.
Test devices:
HTC EVO LTE 4G
Samsung Galaxy Nexus 4G
Samsing Galaxy S II
Kindle Fire HD 7"
Google Nexus 7
ASUS Transformer (TF101)
From the item's description, the BT Lite is a full function headset, made to handle both music and phone calls. That's a boon to people like myself who tend to use their smartphone as a primary source for music rather than a separate device like and iPod. Assuming one can hear/feel their phone ringing, the dance to get said phone of the pocket comes next, along with the hope of not accidentally hanging up on the caller or answering before ready. With the BT Lite, it should be as easy as tapping the answer button on the side of the device's housing. The music pauses, you and the caller are connected, and the conversation is a go. When the call ends, the music picks back up, right where you left off.
To get any of this to work one has to pair the headset to their device. The pairing is a make or break point for any Bluetooth device, both initially and every subsequent connection afterwards. In my experience, the BT Lite's pairing wasn't great. My EVO would pair up, stream music ok, but would dump calls within a minute. This would require me to toggle either the EVO's Bluetooth off, or, turn the headset on and off, before the two would play nice again. Pairing up with the Kindle Fire HD would occasionally get spotty, especially if the BT Lite had been connected to a different device previously. The BT Lite would think it was connected, but the Kindle Fire HD didn't think so. Clearing these hitches required me to reboot the Kindle HD before the two would talk to each other. Three remaining devices all seemed to pair up ok and be happy with the BT Lite at all times. After having such a perfect experience with the Satechi BT Touch, I was disappointed that the same couldn't be said for the BT Lite.
Aside from the pairing issues noted above, the BT Lite functioned great. Sound quality was good, with a pleasing amount of bass. The music controls built into the chassis worked perfectly with all devices, allowing me to pause, play, jump forward or backwards. Each app I used the controls with responded without fail, including Pandora, Amazon MP3, Google Music, and BeyondPod Podcast Manager. In terms of comfort, the BT Lite is fair. The padding on the ear pieces is nice and decently thick, but the BT Lite did get a bit uncomfortable to wear after a while. I'm still experimenting to see if it's a matter of positioning or something else. My guess is the tension on the headband may be a little to much. Battery life lived up to the advertised 6hrs, and blessedly, the BT Lite uses the same micro-USB charging port as several of my other devices, so there was no need to carry around yet another cable/charger. - Silva01

- Works sweetly Sweet Bluetooth headphones. It's more comfortable than other ones I tried and isn't too expensive. I use it all day at work listening to music off my computer. Only thing is that the battery lasts about 5-6 hours so I have to charge it in the middle of the day to listen to it all the way to 5 pm.
