There are no special drivers for SP800 Wireless Presenter, it is a plug and play device.

Please reboot your system and make sure the USB stick of the presenter is not plugged when you do that. After the Mac fully starts up, plug in the USB stick and in a couple of seconds your Mac should recognize it.

The laser is stuck in the on position and will not shut off. As a result, I can not use any of the other functions on the remote. Please advise.

This is usually a sign that the batteries in the device are close to being dead. Please try replacing them with a fresh set.

Great product for my needs It had the green laser and PC/PT functions, along with the Alt-Tab feature. Alt-Tab is a great feature others don't have. Green laser, Alt-Tab, the PC/Presenter, and the fact that the left mouse click was on the left (and the right click on the right (other companies reverse it for some reason) all together is why I bought Satechi and in particular, this model. I'm right handed, and generally it worked well for me. However, the PC/PT slide switch is too small, and needs to stick out slightly more, and possibly even put it on the bottom near the front for easier access with index finger. Clicking of buttons is too loud for a small audience and room. Consider adding an Escape button functionality. Occasionally when I walk up to the pc (I keep the USB plugged in all the time) it seems to have lost connectivity with the USB and thus the computer. I have to unplug and then re-plug it.

A great presentation remote This is a very nice unit. Bought both this and the Logitech green laser units. The Satechi remote has a great range, feels great in the hand, and has a bright green laser pointer that feels natural to operate. The buttons took a little getting used to, as the four way controller for use in mouse mode, and takes you out of the presentation if you push it while in that mode. I thought I might have trouble with that, but it turned out to be a piece of cake to get used to. And if you hit it by accident, another push gets you right back in it. I love this remote, and the mouse mode is easy to use when you need it. Outstanding value.

Church USE We purchased this wireless presenter for use in a church sanctuary setting. The rough dimensions of the sanctuary is 90x40. The presenter was extremely easy to setup (plug-n-play). The OS is Windows 7 Pro, so no issues. The presenter is used with Powerpoint 2007 and works as described. Range is excellent, no issues. We use wireless 802.11G on the PC and no interference along with 8 wireless microphones, no interference. The mouse function is not really usable from great distances only due to being difficult to navigate, we are using a dual monitor setup with one being a projector.

Excellent quality, features and design. I would buy another.

Presentation Mode OK with flaws; Mouse Not Useful If all you want is a wireless presenter, choose a simpler and less costly presenter with a simple "forward," "back," and laser pointer. The button on the SP800 that starts the presentation is terrible - it is easy to hit it as you are trying to advance to your next slide, and when you do that it takes you back to the beginning of your presentation (requiring you to fumble through all of your slides to get back to where you were). I put a piece of tape over the top set of buttons so that presenters would not do this, leaving only the row of buttons with "forward,", "back," and laser pointer open for people to use (which requires that you start the presentation at the computer...usually no big deal). The mouse mode is almost unusable. Trying to move the mouse to the exact position that you want is slow, jerky, and difficult. I don't know why they didn't replace the buttons with a track ball to navigate your mouse - it would have been much easier to use. Set up was seamless - just plug in and go (I use Win XP). The laser pointer works fine. Overall, I would think twice before ordering this again.

Good laser pointer/wireless remote The green laser is much more visible than the traditional red laser. The wireless presenter is effortless to set up. The instructions say that each has a unique ID and you won't get interference from other presenters, but I haven't tried this yet. Worked in a large classroom (about 50 feet away).
Read the manual!!! The presenter's button functions aren't intuitive when you're in the "mouse mode".

Great product The laser pointer/clicker is excellent. My only complaint is that sometimes the slide advancer is a bit finicky and doesn't work right away, but other than that I think it is great!

Great Little Remote Great little remote with awesome power. Love the green laser pointer, rather than the red. So much easier on the eyes when looking at the screen. Once you've figured out the mouse buttons, it makes it so easy to use the remote for changing out presentations from a distance on your laptop. The presentations mode works beautifully, from just about anywhere. I love the blackout screen option. So glad I made the decision to spend a little more to get this version.

Fantastic product This is absolutely the best pointer you can get for the money. The green laser is bright, much better than the traditional red. The presenter function is easy to use. The mouse function is awesome. No more walking up to the computer to start your embedded videos. It's just a fantastic product.

Love it, love it, love it! This is exactly what I was looking for! It allows me to walk around my classroom and effortlessly proceed through my powerpoints. The additional mouse features mean that I can even click on links and expand windows from the back of the room. It's great!

Satechi I would not hesitate to order from this company in the future. Everything about the transactions (I have had two) have been incredible. I ordered the Satechi SP800 Smart-Pointer (Red) 2.4Ghz RF Wireless Presenter with Mouse Function and Green Laser Pointer and loved it so much I ordered a second. In each transaction, my order was filled rapidly and I received a note almost immediately checking on me. This company is wonderful!!
