Unfortunately the Soundfly View is not compatible with playlists as these are typically a different file type which are devices currently don’t support. We are continually making updates to our devices and will eventually address this issue in future revisions. Unfortunately we are unable to upgrade the unit by firmware and instead would simply replace it for you.

The Soundfly View has a built in microphone with improved output sound quality. It has a nice lcd interface as well as a jogwheel mechanism that allows for quick and easy browsing through menu functions. It supports voice recognition software such as the iphone 4s’ “Siri.” It can display current playing track names and artist information via the Bluetooth AVRCP 1.3 profile. It has a goose neck arm allowing for convenient extended positioning. It also has a 3.5mm stereo input/output as opposed to the soundfly BT’s 2.5mm input.

I've only used the transmitter for a day, but it is exactly what I was looking for. While driving and listening to music I couldn't hear my cell phone ring. This definitely solves that problem.Customer Rating
I haven't tested the telephone audio while driving with the windows down yet. But sitting still it worked well. The person at the other end said my voice was a little scratchy but he said it was no worse than many calls he's had from people talking on their cell phone directly.
The mp3 audio is good, there are treble and bass adjustments on the unit to compensate for variations in car stereo systems. There is a volume adjustment for mp3 separate from the cell phone volume adjustment. But the mp3 volume adjustment is on a scale from 1 to 6 so the output is not all that strong, even at it's highest. Cranking the music is a job best left to the car stereo.
The biggest complaint I have so far is that the lighter plug fit so tight into the socket in my car that when I went to remove the unit it pulled part of the panel the lighter socket was mounted in out of my center console. REALLY tight. But I supposed better that than flopping around and falling out. (Posted on 5/14/12) - almost perfect Review by A. Jablonski

I don't normally write reviews, but this is a really good product. I have used 3 different FM transmitters (mainly Griffin brand) and they don't compare. All of the others that I have tried were pretty much unusable because of the static and trouble finding a station that worked. This one must have a more powerful transmitter or something, but I have virtually zero static, so I'm really happy about that. Something that's not too common is that it works through Bluetooth, which is nice, so I can keep my phone in my pocket. It pairs perfectly with my iPhone 4S and works with Siri. Call quality isn't perfect for the person on the other end but it's acceptable. On my end it is very clear though the car's speakers. Over all really good for the money. Also, it arrived quickly direct from the manufacturer. (Posted on 5/14/12)Customer Rating - Best FM Tx on market, Review by Camper

fast to set up. Versatile inputs from wire or bluetooth. Display is a bit dim but otherwise unit functions very well. Fidelity through car stereo is superior than any FM transmitter I've tried. Worth the extra $$ (Posted on 5/14/12)Customer Rating - almost perfect Review by M-A Gemme

This wasn't my first bluetooth FM transmitter.Customer Rating
I bought 2 prior to this one, the first from FutureShop and the other from BestBuy. I returned both because there was a constant white noise in the background while music was playing and it was annoying. So I was nervous when I bought the sounfly as I was expecting the same thing to happen.
To my joy, nothing, perfect sound. Obviously there is some quality loss but it sounds flawless nonetheless. The speakerphone option works great, at first I was shouting to make sure my friends heard me but then realised they heard me clearly even if I was speaking normally.
There is one thing I hate about it though, and that may be just me not knowing how to program it. But whenever I turn the car off, the damn thing stays on. So if I were to forget it, it would drain my battery overnight. So now I have to remember to turn it off everytime I leave the car.
Also, when I first plugged it in, it blew the fuse. I changed the fuse only to have it blow up again. So I solved it by putting in a higher ratio fuse.
The thing is really big too... don't expect a small device. (Posted on 5/14/12) - Fantastic product, surpassed my expectations, Review by S. Graham "smg888"

I was very skeptical, especially after using 2 other FM transmitters that were disappointing. This product is truly amazing. The FM transmitter is so powerful, I set it once and can travel through Portland and Seattle with no interferance and experience excellent sound quality the entire way. I purchased this to provide a an interface for my Iphone to my Mercedes stereo, and it does that and more. It automatically connects to my Iphone 4 when I start the car, streams my Iphone music, displays the song Title and Artist, sounds excellent, and provides a surpriginsly high quality hands free telephone experience. The only room for improvement was that it was not available with Amazon Prime - but the seller did a fine job with a timely delivery. I was searching for a decent Bluetooth to FM Transmitter, found the Soundfly, and I cannot be happier. Was a breeze to pair it with my phone (HTC Hero S) found a good FM station and voila!Customer Rating
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the lack of information on the LCD Display. Other than that I am pleased with how well this thing works. Surprisingly deep bass as well. The item arrived way before the suggested day. It works as described by the seller. My only suggestion is that some of the controls which can only be done by use of the remote control (such as rewinding and fast forwarding) could also have been made possible on the transmitter itself. I tried another FM transmitter before this which fell way below my expectations and did not have half of the features on the Soundfly View transmitter. With the Soundfly View transmitter I can rewind, fast forward, pause and book mark my tracks (actually, I would have also preferred the device to automatically start playing where I left off without having to bookmark it) It also has bluetooth which links in to my mobile phone allowing me to make and receive phone calls whilst I'm driving. It also clearly displays the audio track I'm listening to, as well as the name of the artist, not just on the soundfly view monitor, but also on my vehicle's dashboard display. The Soundfly View has numerous other features which I've not even gotten round to using yet.Customer Rating
All in all I'm very happy with the product. It's probably the best FM transmitter out there. (Posted on 5/14/12) - Feature packed Review by Ken Guzzetta

I really like this gadget. Does exactly what I thought it should do. It integrates your iphone, mp3, and FM transmitter. You can take calls over your car speakers. I like that it comes on and links up to my phone automatically, without the need to turn anything on. I also like that it plays the last playlist or music selection you left off with the last time you were listening to music. I especially great feature is when receiving a call, it stops your music so you can take the call, and returns to your music after you are done with your call.Customer Rating
Overall, it was a good buy for me; I like it.
