Remote Control
The Manual Timer Remote Control Shutter (C) is an advanced shutter release tool for Canon cameras. The MTR can be used to trigger the camera's shutter, as well as lock the shutter open while in bulb mode. This functionality is useful for long-exposure photographic techniques, such as light painting and star trails. The MTR can also be used as an intervalometer, able to capture groups of images while controlling the delay before the initial exposure, the exposure time, and the time-interval between each exposure. The Remote can control the camera shutter from up to 1 meter away, and has a standby battery life of 2 years.

Handy for taking pictures of subjects that difficult to approach with minimized vibration

Can activate the bulb function on the compatible cameras

Ideal for time-lapse photography including blooming flowers and astrophotography

Function as self-timer, interval timer, long-exposure timer- can be programmed as an intervalometer

Wonderful product
Bought 2 of these units, one for my wife and the other for myself, for our Canon 70D DSLR cameras. They work exactly as expected, and provide functions that are not built into the camera, or available from a manufacturer's accessory. We've used them mostly for shooting firework images, but are planning on dong some time-lapse and long exposure imaging in the near future. With these controllers, it will be a fun experience all around.

Great Product
I started using a DSLR camera about 2 and half years ago and still in the learning process. I like to take night photos of city and nature and needed some remote trigger that I can use to reduce the camera shake. My camera (like most) allows only 30 sec of shutter time and I need to take pictures with shutter open for up to 45 minutes. I read reviews of many triggers and choose to buy this and I am so far quite happy with the purchase. Only negative thing is that it doesn't have an ON/OFF switch but battery usage seems OK and is not draining too quickly.

Works perfectly with my Canon EOS Rebel T3 and is easy to use
When I received the unit I had been reading about many Canon T3 owners who could not get a programmed interval control for their camera. So I was really pleased when this one performed exactly as expected. I used it straight out of the box without reading the instructions. This is my way of testing how simply the controls are designed. Passed with flying colors. I am now on my second time-lapse project, showing how a Shitake mushroom log develops mushrooms over 5 days. Having a blast!
