Have been completely satisfied with this product. It does everything and more that was described when purchasing the item. Use it daily in my vehicle and have easily moved and used it in a friends car too. Received my product promptly and when they said it would arrive. Would highly recommend this product and the company that sells it. Thanks (Posted on 5/14/12)Customer Rating - Soundfly BT Bluetooth Device Review by Eric

I am extremely impressed with the Soundfly BT Bluetooth FM transmitter device. The operating instructions are simple. The device is easy to use, and it is a marvelous way to listen to the music on my iphone. When I set my phone to randomly select the songs, it's sort of like listening to my very own radio station. The ability to make and take phone calls through my car's stereo system is just icing on the cake. This is a very cool device at a great price. I love it! I got this product because I was looking to replace my bluetooth headset with a speaker phone product. I was also interested in streaming audio from my Android phone (Droid, Droid X2) over my cars speakers. It does both, splendidly. The audio is clear and plenty loud.Customer Rating
The included microphone has a long enough cord to conceal it from the cigarette lighter socket, all the way under the dash, up next to the door and across the head liner. I have mine clipped to my map lamp. Position and direction are imnportant. If people are having trouble hearing you, make sure the mic is in a good place and pointed at your mouth.
The bluetooth streaming works great. It takes about 5 seconds of the ignition being on for it to connect both audio and phone functionality. I am able to listen to streaming music or a podcast over my car speakers. Excellent!
This product just makes it easy. You can use the pickup and hangup buttons from the device, instead of your phone. There are also audio controls to pause/play and skip tracks that work great. (Posted on 5/14/12) - Very Strong Signal, clear most of the way Review by Fahad Riaz

The fm signal that it transmits is very good, sometimes i wasnt able to tell i was listening through the radio. The remote and sd card playback function work well too. I took this little guy down to south carolina from new york and only had to change the station a few time.Customer Rating
Things I have not tested:
bluetooth (connection, music, and calls)
line out function(through headphone jack)
I'm sure the above functions work well enough though. Over all i believe this is a great fm transmitter and worth the investment; Now i dont have to worry about car stereo solutions for any future cars i may be driving! What a great product. I have been using FM transmitters for years, and this is far and away the best one. Easy to use, very intuitive, love the bluetooth capabilities. I hardly ever hear static, and the sound is perfect. (Posted on 5/14/12)Customer Rating - Great alternative, Review by consumer52

I was looking for a quality FM transmitter so that I could listen to music from my I Phone because my pickup radio doesn't have an auxillary port. When I realized I could also incorporate hands free phone use in the same device I decided to give it a try. This soundfly works well for both needs. The FM transmitter seems to be very powerful. I have had other transmitters and constantly have to change the radio station to find an open channel. This one continues to play my music even when I encounter fairly strong signal on the channel I am using. I have made several 4 and 5 hour trips and only had to change the station about 3 three times in a month. The hands free phone works really well also. I mounted the mic on my visor and the people I talk to say they can tell I'm on a speaker phone but they can hear me fine, I have to adjust the radio volume a bit when switching between phone and music but I don't see that as a big issue. The bluetooth connection is easy to use, I just press one button on the soundfly to disconnect when I get out and connect when I get in. The only negative I would have is the directions that come with the product. They are very vague but I was able to learn how to use it on my own in about 15 mins. I think the soundfly is a good value for the money over a custom installed product. (Posted on 5/14/12)Customer Rating - Works great! Review by A Reviewer in Houston

I purchased the Soundfly BT in 2010, and I love it still. I had purchased the GOgroove flexSMART X2 unit in 2011 for my second car, but found the outgoing sound quality was so poor I threw it in the trash. Callers could not hear what I was saying! I think that it has to do with the fact that the Soundfly has an external microphone (which I hang on my visor). So I THREW AWAY the GOgroove and will today purchase my second Soundfly BT for my other car. (Posted on 5/14/12)Customer Rating - Solid device. Works as advertised. Review by Lt. Coke

Note: I've only tested this device using a bluetooth connection with my EVO Shift.Customer Rating
This thing is built solid! The remote is pretty unimagined; it doesn't work so well in a car, because there is no way to distinguish the buttons by touch. At night, if a bad song comes on, I'm stuck with it until a red light. Beyond that, though, the Soundfly BT has a lot going on for it. It transmits a very powerful signal; the only thing it struggles with is the local country music station, being a mere mile away or so, that's not so hard to understand. Other reviewers have noted that later revisions of this device were built with weaker transmitters. I've seen no evidence of this.
Bluetooth seems a little glitchy. If you try changing tracks too quickly, Android seems to crash causing a hard reboot. Sometimes you need to remove the transmitter and put it back in to re-establish a bluetooth connection. Not sure what music quality gets transferred from my phone; I notice some scratchiness at high volumes for some songs.
The warnings in the manual are rather scary. They claim serious damage to the device or your vehicle if you try to start/stop your vehicle with the device plugged in, and the Soundfly even comes with an extra fuse to drive the point home! I have started my car with the transmitter on; I've also stopped my car with the transmitter on. I believe the real danger is when you have a device plugged in the USB port. Keep that in mind.
Boils down to this: The remote is awkward, the device controls are in general awkward...but once you've set it to a good station, the Soundfly BT Ultimate works beautifully. Changing stations isn't so hard you have to whip out the manual, but you can't do it while driving, that's for sure. (Posted on 5/14/12) - awesome Review by smitch
